All of these messages were delivered to the Community Christian Church family by Lead Pastor Harry Hebert. Harry was called to Richmond, KY in May of 2002, and brings a unique perspective to the pulpit. In his words, he was "raised in a Catholic church, married in a Baptist church, baptized in a Methodist church and now I preach in a Christian church." As a result of his wide ecclesiastical swath, Harry became grounded in some strong convictions:
- God is bigger than we can imagine and holier than we can understand -- and He loves us more than we can know;
- Christ's church is bigger than one congregation or denomination;
- the Bible is the inspired and inerrant authority by which people can live their lives;
- truth must never be comprimised, grace must never be forgotten and love must never be absent;
- preaching should always be interesting, practical and relevant
Harry and his wife Robin, are the proud parents of three daughters.
